The Asset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine (ARMA) has listed for public electronic auction a seized batch of organic chemical — methanol — with a total weight of 1,525.3 tons.

According to an independent valuation conducted by LLC “Realtor-Ukraine”, the market value of the asset is estimated at nearly UAH 57 million. The auction winner will also be required to pay over UAH 44 million in customs duties to the State Budget of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that technical methanol is an ideal raw material for the chemical industry, including the production of resins, solvents, fuel, and synthesis gas(is a gas mixture containing varying amounts of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, as well as a small amount of carbon dioxide.). Therefore, all interested parties (excluding representatives of the aggressor state) are invited to participate in the auction, which will take place on 31 July.
