Free Legal Aid

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Free Legal Aid,” free primary legal aid is a type of state guarantee that consists in informing an individual about his or her rights and freedoms, the procedure for their exercise, the means of restoring them in case of violation, and the procedure for appealing decisions, actions, or omissions of public authorities, local self-government bodies, and their officials or officers.

Applications for the provision of one of the types of legal services specified in Part Two of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On Free Legal Aid” shall be submitted or sent by persons who have reached the age of majority directly to central and local executive authorities, territorial bodies of central executive authorities, and local self-government bodies, in accordance with their competence.
