In his speech, the Director of the Department of Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets, emphasized the key role of ARMA in anti-corruption investigations, in particular, he spoke about the key results of the National Agency for this year.
“ARMA is an anti-corruption body that has an important role in identifying and tracing assets acquired through criminal means, as well as managing seized assets. Recent high-profile cases have included the tracing of assets of corrupt officials from the Medicines and Healthcare Commission, as well as in cases of illegal border crossing,” said Vitaliy Chubaievsky. He added that we transfer information about the identified assets to the pre-trial investigation bodies for taking measures to seize them and then transfer them to the ARMA.
In addition, the ARMA representative emphasized the strategy of the Head of ARMA Olena Duma on effective cash management. Thus, ARMA has purchased military bonds worth 8 billion UAH in equivalent, which are already working for the state's defense capability.
As a reminder, the cooperation between ARMA and the National Academy of Internal Affairs was formalized by signing an interagency agreement in May 2024.
