In 2024, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) launched the disposal of a large-scale seized asset — 494 land plots with a total area of 463.07 hectares located in the Mukachevo and Khust districts of Zakarpattia region. The asset also includes the upper and lower stations of a ski lift.
The disposal is being carried out pursuant to a ruling of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine and based on the notarized consent of the owner.
It is worth noting that the disposal process began back in 2024 via the Prozorro.Sale electronic auction platform. The asset was divided into three lots, with an initial total value exceeding UAH 1.067 billion. Despite three auctions held in 2024, no participants came forward.
In 2025, following a revaluation carried out by the auction organizer Tender Online LLC, the asset was put up for sale at a price of UAH 827,447,500. Today, on 7 July, the first auction of the year was held, but it was declared void due to lack of bidders.
It should be emphasized that the designated purpose of the land allows it to be used for tourism, recreation, and residential development. Importantly, proceeds from the disposal will be transferred to a special account of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
ARMA encourages businesses to take part in the next auction, which will be announced in the coming days. Stay tuned for updates on Prozorro.Sale.
