The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes has announced an open competition for the management of the enterprise “Romyerm” — an asset that has already become a symbol of complex yet successful decisions in the field of seized asset management.

The path to this point, however, was far from simple. ARMA had to address a major environmental threat and even a case of attempted fraud during a previous competitive selection — which resulted in a criminal proceeding for document forgery.

Despite such challenges, ARMA did not back down. Through coordinated action with the Government, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, and staff of ARMA’s South-Eastern Interregional Territorial Office, the environmental threat was eliminated, the asset preserved, and preparations made for a fresh start.

Why is this asset significant?

ARMA has ensured an official valuation of the facility at over UAH 558 million.
The company holds a production license and manages distribution.
This strategically important plant for the region can begin operations immediately upon appointment of a manager.
It is equipped with high-value, fully functional German and Italian machinery.
The site supports regional food security.
It offers the potential to create up to 1,000 jobs.
Full production launch will meet market demand and contribute to both local and national budgets through efficient management.
The initiative will help restore regional stability and improve the socioeconomic wellbeing of local residents.
Therefore, ARMA invites all eligible asset managers — excluding representatives of the aggressor state — to participate in the open competition.

The deadline for tender submissions is 23 July 2025, with the auction scheduled to begin at 13:12 on the same day.
