A meeting was held at the central office of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine (ARMA) between ARMA’s Deputy Head for European Integration, Grigol Katamadze, and representatives of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation within the framework of international technical assistance. In particular, they addressed the possibility of organizing specialized training sessions for ARMA staff in the Republic of Türkiye, as well as support for key ARMA initiatives, including the establishment of a Situation Center and the provision of specialized equipment and transportation for the Agency.
ARMA expressed its appreciation for previous cooperation with TİKA, particularly the successful 2021 project involving the delivery of equipment for ARMA’s IT laboratory. The equipment continues to be actively used in the Agency’s operations.
The Turkish side reaffirmed its interest in continuing to support Ukraine and its readiness to consider new requests from ARMA within the current technical cooperation program.
The results of the meeting open new opportunities for strengthening Ukrainian-Turkish partnership in the field of combating economic crimes and managing seized assets.
