A session of the Implementation Review Group of the United Nations Convention against Corruption was held in Vienna, with the Ukrainian delegation taking part. ARMA participated in discussions on practical aspects of implementing the Convention and strengthening international anti-corruption cooperation.
One of the key topics was preparations for the second cycle of the review of the implementation of the Convention by States Parties. Participants discussed approaches to the criminalisation of corruption, law enforcement activities and strengthening mechanisms for international cooperation.
For ARMA, such cooperation is of practical importance, as asset tracing and recovery require cooperation with foreign states. The exchange of experience and the establishment of professional contacts with international partners contribute to systematic work with assets linked to corruption and other crimes.
