ARMA Prepares «Kerambud» Plant for Competition; Asset Seized in the Case Involving Medvedchuk and Kozak Assets

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) continues preparing seizedassets for transfer into management on a competitive basis.

This work is being carried out in accordance with the updated approaches introducedas part of ARMA’s reform, which provide for a detailed analysis of assets, identification of their characteristics and ensuring maximum transparency ofcompetitive procedures.

Among the assets that ARMA is currently preparing for transfer into managementthrough a competitive selection process is LLC «Kerambud», one of the largestproducers of construction bricks in western Ukraine.

The asset includes 100% of the company’s corporate rights, land plots, production facilities, vehicles and production equipment. The enterprise is located in the Lvivregion and is equipped with modern high-tech machinery that ensures a fully automated production cycle. The plant’s capacity allows for the production of 3 to 4 million bricks per month.

The asset is currently undergoing valuation, the results of which will serve as the basis for developing the terms of the future competition and determiningeconomically justified management indicators.

Upon completion of the valuation, ARMA will announce an open competition for the selection of a manager through the Prozorro electronic system. The selection process will be conducted on a competitive basis in accordance with the principles ofopenness, transparency and maximum economic efficiency.

ARMA encourages business representatives to follow the Agency’s announcementsand participate in upcoming competitions. Effective management of seized assetshelps preserve their economic value, generate revenues for the state budget and support the development of the Ukrainian economy.
