One of the key stages of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency reform is the introduction of a new procedure for selecting managers of complex assets. Its aim is to ensure transparency and competitiveness of the competitions, as well as to increase the efficiency of seized property management.
The Commission for the Selection of Managers of Complex Assets, chaired by Business Ombudsman Anka Feldhusen, considered the appropriateness of establishing additional requirements for potential managers of a number of complex assets.
Following the Commission’s work, ARMA is preparing announcements for the upcoming competitions for the selection of managers for the following assets:
- the operating Mozart Hotel in Odesa — an architectural monument dating back to 1870, located in the historic city centre;
- the assets of LLC “Betonbud”, including production equipment, a hangar, warehouse and office premises and specialised machinery;
- more than 1,200 agricultural land plots in Sumy region;
- railway carriages.
The new procedure is intended to attract professional and reputable participants to the competitions, create equal conditions for potential managers and ensure the preservation and effective use of seized assets.
Information on the launch of the competitive selection procedures and the deadlines for submitting documents will be published on ARMA’s official information resources and in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.
For detailed information about the assets, potential participants may submit a relevant request to ARMA’s official email address: asset.management@arma.gov.ua.
Questions regarding participation in the competitive procedures may also be addressed to the accredited electronic platforms of the Prozorro system.
