Acting Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency YaroslavaMaksymenko, together with the team, visited the production facilities of the IDS Ukraine group, in particular the «Morshynska» plant, as part of preparing the assetfor an open competition for the selection of a manager.
After a previous visit to the company’s Kyiv office, this time the focus is directly onproduction. The ARMA team was presented with the production lines, theorganization of processes and was also given the opportunity to familiarizethemselves with the work of the personnel. This format allows for a comprehensiveassessment of the asset’s condition — both from an operational and a socialperspective.
The enterprise is operating at full production capacity, which is an important factor inpreserving the economic value of the asset during the period of arrest and ensuring itsstable operation.
«Our task is to preserve the economic value of the asset, its operations, and thepeople who ensure it. This is the basis of responsible management during the periodof arrest», Yaroslava Maksymenko emphasized.
IDS Ukraine is one of the leading companies in the bottled water market in Ukraine, which includes the well-known brands «Morshynska» and «Myrgorodska».
It should be recalled that the asset belongs to a sanctioned individual — MikhailFridman, who is under sanctions of Ukraine, the United States, and the EuropeanUnion, and is one of the largest and most complex in the agency’s portfolio. The assetis managed by the Asset Recovery and Management Agency on the basis of a courtdecision on the seizure of corporate rights and their transfer to the agency.
The next stage is the announcement of an open competition for the selection of a manager. The selection will take place through Prozorro with the involvement of theCommission for the selection of a manager for complex assets.
