The Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, Olena Duma, took part in an important event organized by the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (NAUCS), dedicated to the European Union’s current policy in the field of social dialogue. Together with representatives of central executive bodies, trade unions, employers, and international partners, we discussed the systemic transformations needed for the Ukrainian model of social partnership.
The discussion focused on:
International standards for social dialogue;
Improving the quality of labor relations;
Enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy;
Adapting to EU standards in line with the Association Agreement.
“Social dialogue is not just a mechanism. It is the foundation of trust. And without trust, there can be neither a resilient state nor a strong economy. We must frankly admit today, this instrument in Ukraine does not function to its full potential. The reason lies in the lack of system-based approaches, genuine responsibility of the parties, and the absence of a shared vision. What should we do? Learn to speak the same language. ARMA, as an institution operating at the intersection of state management and market mechanisms, fully understands the value of effective interaction. And we stand for every decision being made with due regard to the interests of the people, the economy, and the state,” emphasized Olena Duma following the Forum.
ARMA consistently supports the implementation of European practices in the field of governance, where social dialogue is a key element. We are convinced that the path towards EU membership requires not only legal reforms, but also profound changes in the culture of interaction between the state, business, and citizens.
