Within the framework of the CARIN General Assembly, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) continued to work on strengthening international partnerships.
One of the key events was the meeting of the ARMA delegation with Athena Pambori, a representative of the Cyprus Police, who is responsible for combating criminal offenses. They discussed the possibilities of improving cooperation between Ukraine and Cyprus, as well as signing an international interagency cooperation agreement.
In addition, during the General Assembly, an agreement was reached with the Director of the ARO Office and a representative of the ARIN-CARIB Secretariat, Kisha Southerland, to hold an online conference with representatives of the Regional Network countries to establish cooperation. It is worth noting that the ARIN-CARIB Regional Network includes Caribbean countries such as Belize, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands. It is the jurisdictions of these countries that are of interest to ARMA's units for finding and tracing assets obtained through criminal means and transferred outside Ukraine.
As a reminder, within the framework of the CARIN General Assembly, the Ukrainian ARMA expanded its international partnership with representatives of the United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Libya and Ireland.
