The seventh plenary meeting of the GlobE Network – the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities – will take place in Vienna from 25 to 28 August.

Acting Head of ARMA Yaroslava Maksymenko and Vladyslav Zhornytskyi, Head of the Department of International Cooperation, European Integration, Asset Recovery and Management in Foreign Jurisdictions, will participate in the event.

“Russian capital, which has shaped economic influence in Ukraine and Europe for years, cannot remain beyond the attention of the state. The IDS Ukraine case, linked to Mikhail Fridman, is one example of how Ukraine is translating this policy into practice. ARMA has already reached the final stage of selecting a new asset manager. In cooperation with international partners, we must establish an effective system in which the assets of persons linked to the aggressor state are found, placed under effective control and put to work for the benefit of Ukraine”, Yaroslava Maksymenko said.

Key topics of the meeting include international cooperation in combating corruption, cross-border financial crime, asset recovery and combating illicit financial flows.

ARMA has been a member of the GlobE Network since 2024. Participation in the network strengthens the Agency’s international cooperation and facilitates the exchange of practices in the field of asset tracing and recovery.
