Today, the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) is transferring UAH 1.87 billion to the Russian Federation's Armed Aggression Relief Fund!
This became possible due to the previous actions of the National Agency and the write-off by ARMA of Russian funds that were previously seized but held in a commercial bank account.
The National Agency's consistent activities are aimed at writing off funds received from sanctioned persons, Russian banks and companies in accordance with the law and court decisions and at restoring and protecting the country.
We are grateful to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for regulating the procedure that allows 1.87 billion UAH from the sale of confiscated bonds to be transferred to the Recovery Fund of Ukraine. ARMA implemented this decision within three days.
It should be reminded that from the 1.8 billion UAH of Russian funds written off by the agency, ARMA was able to provide net income to the state budget in the amount of almost 500 million UAH, which were also transferred to the special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine in February this year.
These funds came from the effective management of the assets of LLC “Royal PAYEUROP”.
In 2024, the ARMA recovered more than 18 million USD from the accounts of Friedman and Aven offshore companies, and recently another 137 million UAH from the accounts of companies associated with these sanctioned persons.
The enemy's funds are already working against the enemy! After all, the funds of the special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine are directed to:
▪️ construction infrastructure facilities, civil defense facilities, restoration of residential and public facilities
▪️ New construction of residential facilities for persons who lost their homes as a result of military operations from the armed aggression of the Russian Federation
▪️ construction healthcare facilities and other social projects.
