The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes conducted a comprehensive inspection of the seized assets belonging to LLC “ODP GROUP” and LLC “Experimental and Research Complex Orepy”, which are leading enterprises in the field of poultry farm equipment manufacturing.
The asset inspection was carried out with the participation of employees of ARMA’s Central Office and the Central Interregional Territorial Administration Under The Supervision of Deputy Head of ARMA Stanislav Petrov.
The assets were transferred to ARMA’s management pursuant to a ruling by the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv. According to the investigation, the owners of these enterprises are suspected of supplying obstruction systems to enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of the russian federation, which are used in the war against Ukraine.
Despite this, the enterprises are considered investment-attractive assets, previously producing unique products that are in high demand both in domestic and foreign markets.
The asset portfolio includes a large-scale complex of real estate located in Zhytomyr region and the city of Kyiv, consisting of:
- office premises and administrative buildings
- production and warehouse facilities
- utility buildings and auxiliary infrastructure
- land plots
- a poultry complex with an incubator
- vehicles
A separate component of the seized assets is a fully operational poultry farm with an in-house incubator capable of accommodating over 10,000 eggs, which significantly enhances the investment attractiveness of the property.
According to preliminary assessments, the assets are capable of generating substantial revenues for the state budget, provided they are managed professionally. The enterprises have an established market reputation and developed product distribution channels.
Based on the results of the conducted inspection, ARMA staff prepared relevant analytical reports, which will serve as the basis for further work with the assets.
In the near future, ARMA will initiate the procedure for selecting an independent appraiser to conduct a market valuation of the property. At the same time, market consultations will be held with potential asset managers to develop conditions that are beneficial to the state.
Upon completion of the preparatory procedures, a competitive selection for the asset manager will be announced via the Prozorro electronic platform, ensuring maximum transparency and competitiveness of the process.
