Asset Recovery and Management Agency published response to the request of Ukrainska Pravda and called for adherence to the journalistic standards.

ARMA informs that it has officially provided a response to the request of Ukrainska Pravda regarding the names mentioned in the letter. The response, submitted on the day of the request’s registration, clearly states that the individuals referred to in the journalistic material have no connection either to ARMA or to the appointed manager. In view of the high public resonance with the issue, the Agency has decided to make its position public.

At the same time, it should be noted that no reaction from the Ukrainska Pravda to ARMA’s official response has been received. Moreover, the article itself was published prior to the ARMA’s response was obtained.

ARMA emphasizes the importance of adhering the Code of Ethics of Ukrainian Journalists, in particular the Article 12 which obliges media to correct inaccurate information. These are the principles of transparency and professionalism.

ARMA underscores the necessity of an honest public dialogue grounded in facts.
