Representatives of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes participated in the Fourth International Asset Recovery CEE 2026 Conference, held in Warsaw (Republic of Poland).
The event brought together leading international lawyers, corporate intelligence specialists, litigation financiers and economic security experts from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and around the world.
At the invitation of the organizers, Warsaw Disputes Days, the Agency was represented by the Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Legal Support Division of the Legal Support Department of the ARMA Central Office and Hennadii Obertovych, Chief Specialist of the Second Division of the Department of Finding, Tracing, and Recovery of Assets in Foreign Jurisdictions.
Conference participants discussed modern approaches to asset tracing and recovery, international cooperation in the field of asset recovery, as well as issues related to the digitalization of asset finding and tracing processes, the use of open-source intelligence (OSINT) technologies, artificial intelligence and data analytics.
During panel discussions, leading international experts presented practical experience in imposing sanctions on Russian and affiliated companies, mechanisms for freezing their assets and specific aspects of conducting investigations in the field of cryptocurrencies.
In its turn, ARMA representatives introduced international partners to the Agency’s functions, achievements and key areas of development. They also shared Ukraine’s experience in using OSINT in the processes of asset finding, tracing and recovery.
As part of the event, the Ukrainian representatives held a number of working meetings with private-sector specialists, including representatives of British law firms and familiarized themselves with advanced practices in the use of specialized OSINT platforms for tracing hidden assets.
An important outcome of participation in the conference was the establishment of new professional contacts between ARMA and international partners for further exchange of experience in the field of asset tracing across various foreign jurisdictions and offshore zones.
