The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) has purchased military bonds worth UAH 2 billion at an auction conducted by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for the sale of domestic government bonds.
“Yesterday, 30 July, ARMA purchased military bonds worth UAH 2 billion using seized funds. This is a significant and tangible result of the consistent work of the National Agency's team in support of our Armed Forces. I would like to thank Olena Duma for the achievements we reached through our joint efforts. Our team will continue its work and will further support the economy and defense capabilities of the state through criminal assets,”
commented Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of ARMA.
As a result, the total portfolio of military bonds under ARMA’s management amounts to UAH 5.6 billion, including foreign currency-denominated bonds amounting to USD 31 million and EUR 6.5 million.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes has allocated almost UAH 11 billion to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the purchase of military bonds.
ARMA is the only public authority that makes a direct financial contribution to the defense of Ukraine through the purchase of military bonds.
The effectiveness of the Agency’s cash management was confirmed by the recovery of UAH 2.3 billion (proceeds from the sale of military bonds) to the fund for the liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression in march 2025, pursuant to a ruling on the collection of funds from the sanctioned entity ROYAL PAY EUROPE LLC for the benefit of the state.
