ARMA took over management of the corporate rights of the IDS Ukraine group.

12-12-2025

ARMA took over management of the corporate rights of the IDS Ukraine group. The transfer took place within the framework of criminal proceedings concerning the assets of sanctioned Russian individuals, in particular Mikhail Fridman, who is under sanctions imposed by the US, EU, UK, Canada, Ukraine and other countries for supporting the Russian regime and posing a threat to international security.

The asset was transferred to ARMA with the assistance of the prosecutor's office, which ensured the relevant procedural actions and transfer of documents. The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings concerning these assets is being conducted by the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine.

In managing the seized assets, the state's priorities are:

  • protection against attempts at illegal interference or loss of control over the assets belonging to Fridman;
  • directing the company's activities in the interests of Ukraine, rather than those of sanctioned individuals;
  • ensuring the stable and transparent operation of enterprises until a final court decision is made.

In the near future, ARMA will announce a separate competition to select an independent asset valuation company, IDS Ukraine.

Yaroslava Maksymenko, Acting Head of ARMA:

"ARMA's goal is to ensure that the assets of sanctioned persons work for the Ukrainian economy. Our task is to ensure transparent procedures, open competitions and stable operation of enterprises until the final court decision is made."

On 28 November, ARMA announced an open competition to find a company that will provide temporary management of IDS Ukraine's assets – production facilities, logistics and continuity of operations.

Companies with relevant experience are invited to participate: investment funds, distributors and other market participants with relevant expertise.

Applications will be accepted until 12 December 2025.
