Based on the decision of the Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv City, a significant amount of seized property was transferred to the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
The assets were transferred within the ongoing criminal proceedings investigated by the Security Service of Ukraine on the facts of serious and especially serious crimes, in particular: extortion, unlawful imprisonment, unlawful seizure of vehicles, illegal use of weapons and declaration of false information. According to investigators, the seized assets are connected to a sitting member of a city council.
The seized property transferred to the ARMA includes:
- 87 solar energy generation facilities
- 68 land plots
- over 3.5 million UAH
Receiving such a complex of assets under management is another example of how seized property acquired through dubious means begins to work for the state and strengthen its economy under martial law.
