19-06-2025

The National Agency of Ukraine for the Identification, Investigation, and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes held a working meeting with representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed expanding the formats of cooperation that will contribute to enhancing ARMA's institutional capacity and implementing its mandate amid growing requests from law enforcement agencies.

Key topics of the meeting included:

- the creation of an ARMA situation center, which should become a modern analytical platform for coordinating actions related to asset tracing and management

- the establishment of cooperation with Spanish institutions similar to ARMA in order to exchange experience, best practices, and organize study visits

- providing the Agency with computer equipment within the framework of international technical assistance.

Separate emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening the Agency's material and technical base, in particular for the proper functioning of new structural units and providing staff with the necessary means to perform tasks related to the identification, search, and management of assets.

ARMA expresses its gratitude to the EU Advisory Mission for its willingness to deepen cooperation and support the Agency's priority areas of development.
