On January 28, 2025, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) held an official meeting with authorised officers for economic affairs from the Embassies of key partner countries. Among them: Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Italy, Great Britain, Republic of Slovenia, Slovak Republic, Norway, Swiss Confederation, Czech Republic.
The meeting was initiated by ARMA to strengthen international cooperation and ensure transparency in the Agency's activities.
During the meeting, the economic performance results of the Agency for 2024 were presented. Particular attention was given to the issue of traced assets located in foreign jurisdictions and the discussion of effective mechanisms for attracting international technical assistance.
Head of ARMA stressed that an open dialogue with international partners helps to build trust and facilitates the introduction of innovative approaches to the Agency's activities.
"ARMA independently began its transformation in 2023, and we discussed with international partners how the Agency has demonstrated an increase in budget revenues by tens of billions of hryvnias, as well as what needs to be improved in the special law, particularly regarding the implementation of the Ukraine Facility plan,"
noted Olena Duma.
The participants also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation to ensure effective asset management, improve asset tracing procedures and introduce modern technologies.
ARMA is grateful to the representatives of diplomatic missions for their active participation and interest in joint initiatives. The Agency will continue to focus its efforts on developing a transparent asset management system and expanding international cooperation.
