The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has successfully sold a batch of seized assets totalling UAH 11,649,259.24 using the Prozorro.Sale. The sold assets include 229 items of computer equipment, including monoblocks and laptops of a well-known global brand.
This equipment is part of a larger batch of electronic devices seized in the criminal proceedings and transferred to ARMA for sale by a court decision.
Despite the fact that the criminals tried to smuggle the equipment, now a significant part in the amount - over UAH 3 million - consists of customs duties that will be transferred to the state budget. The remaining funds will be transferred to ARMA's deposit portfolio for further purchase of military bonds.
The seized batch also includes mobile phones and tablets. These devices will be put up for repeated electronic auction in the near future. We remind you that the sale of assets through open and transparent auctions allows to ensure maximum benefit for the state from the sale of seized property and prevent the risks of corruption and fraud.
