ARMA unblocks access of manager to seized “Maidan Plaza” in central Kyiv despite organized resistance

17-04-2025

Today, the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), together with the State Emergency Service and the National Police of Ukraine, successfully secured access to the seized asset of  LLC “Maidan Plaza” in central Kyiv for the legal manager, despite attempts to block the process.

After identifying obstacles to access to the premises located at 27 B Khreshchatyk Street with a total area of 535 square meters, ARMA representatives in cooperation with law enforcement agencies took decisive measures to restore the rule of law.

The premises were inspected under the supervision of ARMA Deputy Head Stanislav Petrov.

“We are acting solely within the law and on the basis of the management agreement concluded with the winner of the open tender – LLC “Envil”. No attempts to obstruct the execution of court decisions will stop our work,” emphasized Stanislav Petrov.

During the inspection, representatives of a private security firm and people who called themselves tenants of the premises appeared. They called the police and an investigative team, trying to block ARMA's lawful actions. Nevertheless, ARMA managed to unblock access to the asset for the tendered manager and successfully signed the acceptance certificates for LLC “Maidan Plaza”.

ARMA has already filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies regarding the fact of obstruction of the execution of the court decision.

ARMA once again calls on the owners of the seized assets and their associates not to obstruct the legitimate activities of the National Agency. The assets of criminals, traitors and corrupt officials are working and will continue to work for the benefit of Ukraine, increasing revenues to the state budget. No attempts to counteract will stop ARMA.

It is worth recalling that on February 26, 2025, ARMA entered into a management agreement with LLC “Envil”, which won an open tender held through the Prozorro system. According to the terms of the agreement, the property is transferred to management for 4 years, and the manager is obliged to transfer 99.85% of the income received from property management to the state budget on a monthly basis. In addition, the agreement provides for a fixed guaranteed payment in case of low management income - more than UAH 61 thousand per month.
