At the request of law enforcement agencies, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine (ARMA)  has identified a number of assets belonging to individuals involved in a criminal case concerning embezzlement of budget funds and official forgery.

According to the investigation, officials of one of the city's state veterinary hospitals, with the assistance of the head of the local department of the  State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection(SSUFSCP), organized illegal payroll payments to fictitious employees.

As a result of the measures taken, ARMA identified the following assets:

8 land plots;

3 residential properties;

2 non-residential properties;

2 cars;

2 weapons.

In addition, the Agency initiated requests to banking institutions for information about the accounts and balances of the suspects. The information obtained was forwarded to law enforcement agencies for measures to be taken to seize the property.

“ARMA is working systematically to ensure that assets identified in criminal proceedings do not remain hidden. Our task is to ensure their preservation,” said ARMA Deputy Head Pavlo Velykorechanin.
