ARMA collects record 2.6 billion UAH from accounts of online casino linked to representatives of aggressor state

05-09-2024

The ARMA, in joint cooperation with the State Bureau of Investigation, has already conducted a number of measures that resulted in the write-off of 2 billion 120 million UAH held on the accounts of companies providing online casino services in Ukraine and linked to russian business and capital.

The ARMA, together with the State Bureau of Investigation, is working to further write off the remaining funds in the amount of about 500 million UAH from accounts in other banks.

This brings the total portfolio of seized funds under ARMA's management to a record high of almost 10 billion UAH.

The Agency is making a powerful contribution to the defeat of the aggressor state and will soon use these funds to purchase Military Bonds.

The purchase of domestic government bonds is a financial weapon against Russia to allocate even more funds for weapons, medicines, and military equipment to support the Armed Forces and the country's defense needs.

As of today, the ARMA has already purchased 5.5 billion UAH worth of government bonds, including USD 31 million, and is taking steps to purchase EUR 6.5 million worth of government bonds at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine auction scheduled for September 10, 2024.

As a reminder, due to the strengthening of cooperation with law enforcement agencies, ARMA receives more and more court rulings transferring property, corporate rights, funds.

The National Agency continues to effectively manage seized assets to ensure billions of dollars in revenues to the state budget.
