The Asset Recovery and Management Agency agreed on a partnership with Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB). The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the annual CARIN network meeting held at Europol headquarters in the Hague. ARMA was represented at the event by Department Heads Anna Makarenko and Maxim Pasik.

This document paves the way for closer cooperation between Ukraine and Ireland in the finding, tracing and management of  criminally obtained assets. It also provides for the exchange of experience and the implementation of best international practices in working with such assets.

ARMA and the Irish Bureau plan to join forces on joint initiatives to improve asset recovery mechanisms and strengthen the capacity of state bodies to combat financial crime.
