23-05-2025

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The document was signed by Olena Duma, Head of ARMA, and Yuriy Boshytskyy, Rector of the University.

The Memorandum supports the initiative of ARMA's Head to strengthen cooperation with the legal community aimed at training a new generation of professionals — individuals of integrity, civic responsibility, and commitment to serving the public interest.

Among other things, the Head of ARMA and the Rector of the University discussed the development and printing of joint educational materials covering ARMA’s activities, the management and recovery of seized assets for the state, and the role of effective asset management in combating corruption and strengthening national security.

“A strong legal system starts with the quality of education. ARMA is interested in ensuring that young lawyers understand how anti-corruption tools work at the start of their careers, the real value of assets to the state, and why the principles of integrity must be instilled during university studies. We are grateful that the University shares these priorities,” noted the Head of ARMA, Olena Duma.

Yuriy Boshytskyi emphasized that for Kyiv Law University, this cooperation is not merely a signed agreement but a strategic partnership.

“Our students have the opportunity to learn not only from textbooks, but also directly from practitioners who safeguard the interests of the state every day. ARMA represents a new standard of institutional quality in Ukraine, and we are proud that our students have the chance to be a part of its work,” the Rector emphasized.

Earlier, the Head of ARMA gave a lecture to the University’s students, sharing the National Agency’s practical experience and encouraging young people to take an active role in building a strong rule-of-law culture.

ARMA will continue to support the development of a new generation of legal professionals who are motivated, competent, and committed to serving the nation’s future.
