Olena Duma, Head of the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), andVolodymyr Tsependa, CEO of Ukrtransnafta, met to discuss the effective management of a partof the Samara-Western Direction oil product pipeline, enhancing the protection of facilities, andkey aspects of Ukrtransnafta's production program for 2025.
The parties emphasized the importance of a responsible approach to managing the strategiccritical infrastructure facility and fulfilling obligations to the state.
“We are responsible for our obligations to the state, so it is important for us as a manager notonly to ensure the efficient operation of the oil product pipeline, but also to make regularpayments to the state budget from the management of the asset,” said Volodymyr Tsependa.
Olena Duma emphasized: "ARMA does not just transfer assets for management. We exercisesystemic control and ensure real efficiency. The manager demonstrates the result. And today weare already working on updating the Agreement to take into account the security challenges of2025."
As a reminder, Ukrtransnafta won ARMA tender for the manager of a part of the Samara-Western Direction oil product pipeline and entered into an asset (property) managementagreement with ARMA in 2021.
