The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has successfully completed the process of selecting a manager for the property complex of LLC «Ukrainian Berry». According to the results of the tender held on the Prozorro platform, the winner was the Consortium “MANAGEMENT COMPANY ‘CAMPARITET’.

In accordance with the decision of the Lychakiv District Court of Lviv, corporate rights, production equipment and real estate of the enterprise were transferred to ARMA. According to an independent appraisal, the value of the property is almost UAH 6.5 million.

The process of concluding the agreement was preceded by ARMA's painstaking work in cooperation with law enforcement agencies. During the initial inspection of the asset in Zhytomyr region, the Agency found evidence of obstruction of the Agency's activities by the owner of the seized asset and violation of the court ban on the use of the property. A criminal proceeding was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 382 (Failure to comply with a court decision) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

“Despite the previous obstacles, we managed to ensure the legality and establish effective management of this important asset. All funds from the property management will go directly to the State Budget of Ukraine,” said Ihor Chuloi, Director of the Asset Management Department of ARMA.

According to the terms of the agreement, the manager is obliged to: make regular payments to the State Budget of Ukraine and provide a monthly guarantee payment at its own expense, even in the absence of management income.

The conclusion of the management agreement is an important step towards restoring the company's legitimate business activities and ensuring revenues to the state budget.
