The Asset Recovery and Management Agency implemented key recommendations of the Accounting Chamber based on the results of an audit of the effective use of state budget funds and management of seized assets.
This was discussed during a meeting on state financial control chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka.
According to the monitoring results, the recommendations falling within the Agency's competence have already been implemented. Some of the measures that require interdepartmental coordination and decisions at the level of several authorities are in the process of being implemented. The meeting participants emphasised the need to further strengthen cooperation between state institutions to complete this process.
"It is important for us not only to record the implementation of recommendations, but also to eliminate the systemic causes that lead to such comments. It is this approach that allows us to improve the quality of management and prevent the recurrence of problems in the future", Taras Kachka stressed.
ARMA was represented at the meeting by the Head of the Accounting and Financial and Economic Support Department, Oleksandr Danilov, and the Head of the Legal Support Department, Stanislav Kostiuchenko. They stressed that the implementation of the Accounting Chamber's recommendations is part of the Agency's systemic transformation aimed at improving asset management efficiency and transparency of internal processes.
For reference
The Accounting Chamber conducted an audit of the compliance of the use of state budget funds and the management of ARMA assets during 2024-2025. Strengthening the institutional capacity of the agency is part of meeting the criteria for EU membership, particularly in the area of the rule of law.
