The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) has announced a repeat electronic auction of seized assets — organic methanol with a total weight of 1,525.3 tonnes. This time, the assets will be sold at a 50% discount from the initial estimated value, in accordance with the auction terms.

According to an independent assessment by Realtor-Ukraine LLC, the initial market value of the asset was almost UAH 57 million. Therefore, the starting price at the repeat auction has been reduced to approximately UAH 28.5 million.

In addition, the auction winner will pay more than UAH 44 million in customs duties to the State Budget of Ukraine.

Methanol is a valuable technical raw material for the chemical industry, used in the production of solvents, synthesis gas, fuel, and resins. The repeat auction is an opportunity for businesses to acquire a strategic resource on favourable terms.

The auction will take place on 13 August 2025.
Bids will be accepted until 20:00 on 12 August 2025.
