At the request of a law enforcement agency, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets (ARMA) conducted asset-tracing measures targeting officials of enterprises suspected of large-scale misappropriation and embezzlement of budget funds during public procurement procedures.
Specialists from ARMA’s Department for Digital Development, Asset Finding and Tracing, using available tools and access to relevant information resources, identified a number of assets linked to the case’s suspects.
The investigation revealed:
- 14 real estate properties
- 3 land plots
- 18 vehicles
- luxury boat
- 14 firearms
- Shares in companies worth over UAH 600,000
All collected information on the assets has been handed over to the competent law enforcement body to initiate further seizure measures.
“Luxury boats, elite real estate, firearms — these are the so-called ‘trophies’ acquired at the expense of the budget. But today, these assets are no longer in the shadows. ARMA is bringing them back into the legal domain,” said Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of ARMA.
ARMA continues to actively support the investigation of economic and corruption crimes, ensuring the effective detection and tracing of assets that can be used to recover damages to the state.
