At the request of the investigative authority, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) conducted a large-scale operation to find and trace the assets of individuals suspected of collaborating with the occupiers. The suspects are involved in financing the russian federation’s occupation administration in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, transferring funds to the aggressor country, and conducting business in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
ARMA has found and traced a significant amount of property belonging to collaborators:
- Corporate rights in the authorized capital of companies amounting to UAH 72,251,368
- 45 motor vehicles
- 44 real estate properties
- 20 units of agricultural machinery with accessories
- 11 land plots
The total value of the found assets amounts to tens of millions of hryvnias, which demonstrates the scale of the suspects’ illegal activities.
“Economic weapons against the enemy in action. Finding the assets of individuals who operate in the occupied territories and contribute to the economic support of the aggressor country is a priority area of our work. We ensure the finding and tracing of such assets with a view to their subsequent seizure pursuant to rulings and management in the interests of the state,”
emphasized Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of ARMA.
Information on all found assets has already been forwarded to the competent law enforcement authorities for the imposition of seizure injunctions, further procedural actions pursuant to rulings, and subsequent transfer into ARMA’s management.
