ARMA Takes Part in Regional Dialogue on Good Governance and Women's Leadership in South Eastern Europe

On April 1, 2025, representatives of the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), Diana Bondarchuk and Yulia Yatsunik, took part in the Regional Policy Dialogue in Sarajevo, organized by the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI), which ARMA joined as an observer in December 2024.

The event focused on gender equality, good governance, transparency and anti-corruption mechanisms to increase trust in public institutions. At the opening ofthe event, Director of the RAI Secretariat Desislava Gotskova emphasized the needfor a close link between political decisions and their goals, especially in thecontext of developing sustainable governance and leadership.

ARMA representatives also met with RAI leadership and Professor SlagianaTasheva, Dean and Executive Secretary of the International Anti-CorruptionAcademy, and Petra Sushac, Head of the General Management Department of theInternational Anti-Corruption Academy, to discuss the development of jointeducational programs and raising professional standards.

For reference. RAI is a key regional platform in the field of anti-corruption policythat promotes cooperation between the countries of Southeast Europe, theimplementation of best practices and the development of effective mechanisms tocombat corruption. Through its activities, RAI plays an important role in theformation of sustainable anti-corruption structures and policies at the regionallevel.
