The Agency traced the assets of human organ traffickers in a high-profile case.

Were seized the assets of a group of officials and their accomplices involved in illegal human anatomical material trafficking. The operation was initiated at the request of the Investigative Service of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipro region.

The pre-trial investigation established that a group of people and their accomplices, using their official position and personal connections, carried out human anatomical material trafficking in 2022-2023.

Employees of the Asset Finding and Tracing Department of ARMA used information and reference systems, registers and databases to analyse the amount of information on these individuals and the various assets they owned.

According to Deputy Head of ARMA Pavlo Velykorechanin the Agency's staff identified and searched bank accounts, as well as residential and non-residential real estate, vehicles, land plots and a vessel.

ARMA forwarded the findings to the pre-trial investigation body for appropriate action, namely seizure of the identified assets.

It is worth to note that there were no similar criminal proceedings in Ukraine for years.

Any crimes against humanity will not go unpunished.
