ARMA to secure the largest special confiscation in Ukraine's History: UAH 2.6 Billion from russian Pin-Up

14-07-2025

A court has applied special confiscation, transferring UAH 2.6 billion from the russian online casino “PIN-UP” to the state budget. This will become the largest special confiscation of funds in the history of Ukraine, secured by ARMA.

Throughout the investigation, ARMA ensured reliable management of the arrested funds of the Pin-Up online casino, despite numerous attempts to return them.

"Today we are witnessing a historic triumph of justice. The record special confiscation of UAH 2.6 billion, to be secured by ARMA, is the result of our principled stance and powerful cooperation with law enforcement agencies. We not only managed to forcibly seize the aggressor's funds, but also preserved them for the benefit of Ukraine. This record confiscation will allow not only to replenish the state budget by UAH 2.6 billion with an additional UAH 54 million in accrued interest, but also for the first time, ARMA will contribute to reducing the national debt," stated ARMA Head Olena Duma.

How ARMA Protected Billions from Being Returned to the Enemy

ARMA faced unprecedented pressure to return the arrested funds of the Pin-Up online casino. However, the National Agency succeeded in:

  • Ensuring the preservation and proper management of UAH 2.6 billion in arrested funds;
  • Responding promptly to attempts to lift the arrest and taking urgent joint action with law enforcement to reimpose it;
  • Directing the funds towards the purchase of military bonds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine even before the investigation was completed.

In November 2024, when the court issued a questionable decision to lift the arrest of UAH 2.6 billion from the online casino, ARMA immediately appealed to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) to impose a new arrest. Thanks to ARMA’s swift actions and the professionalism of the SBI, the funds were re-arrested within one day.

During the period of managing the arrested funds, ARMA directed UAH 2 billion to purchase military bonds. These funds directly contributed to strengthening the defense capabilities of our state.

"ARMA has proven its effectiveness in protecting national interests. Not a single penny of the aggressor’s funds was allowed to return to the owners or their accomplices. Instead, the enemy’s money worked for our economy and defense," emphasized Olena Duma.

ARMA continues active cooperation with law enforcement in cases related to the assets of the aggressor and their accomplices.

The record special confiscation of Pin-Up’s funds has become an important precedent for future cases related to the aggressor’s assets and has confirmed the effectiveness of Ukraine’s asset management system.
