By its decision, the Supreme Court of Ukraine stopped the execution of the decisions of the Economic Court of Lviv Region and the Western Economic Court of Appeal regarding the recovery of 455.6 thousand euros from the accounts of the National Agency in favor of LLC "BNK-Ukraina".

The funds were seized in April 2022 by the Podil District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv and transferred to the ARMA Department. In November 2023, the Halytsky District Court of Lviv canceled the seizure of part of the funds in the amount of 170.9 thousand euros.

In December 2023 and March 2024, the Commercial Court of the Lviv Region passed a decision to collect from ARMA 284,612 euros and 170,960 euros, respectively, in favor of  LLC "BNK-Ukraina". The Western Commercial Court of Appeal upheld these decisions. The execution of these court decisions led to a partial restriction of payments to ARMA accounts.

"It is very difficult to achieve justice. Especially, in the presence of court decisions and blocked accounts for the body for months. But after receiving evidence at ARMA's request from the power bloc, we won," - emphasized ARMA Head
Olena Duma.

Suspension of execution of previous decisions is critical to ensure the financial stability of the Agency and the proper performance by ARMA of its tracing functions and effective management of seized assets.
