The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) is launching the process of selecting an appraiser and a manager for the seized assets of PJSC "Cheksil-Avtoservis", PJSC "Cheksil" and PJSC "Meneghing company". The announcement of the tenders was preceded by a detailed inspection of the assets conducted by the ARMA central office and the ARMA central department together with representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine in Chernihiv region.
The inspection revealed that the seized assets were successfully operated by Ukrainian enterprises with a strong production base and modern equipment. In particular, there are warehouses, sawmills for the production of parquet, textile equipment, furniture and other goods stores, etc.
The seized assets also include non-residential premises of the former "Cheksil"worsted and cloth mill, one of the largest textile enterprises in Ukraine, which for the last 10 years has been leasing out premises for warehouses and offices. The assets were transferred to ARMA's management by a ruling of the Desnianskyi District Court of Chernihiv in the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 110-2 of the Criminal Code (financing actions committed with the aim of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine).
Russian seized assets should be used for the benefit of the state of Ukraine, and business entities should participate in a tender for asset management under transparent procedures to replenish the state budget. All interested parties, including foreign businesses that meet the qualification requirements, can participate in the selection process.
After an independent valuation, market consultations and the establishment of criteria, the asset will be published on Prozorro
