The National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has conducted an inspection of the seized asset - PJSC Kyiv Central Design Bureau of Reinforcement Engineering (“KCKBA”), transferred to management in accordance with the decisions of the investigating judge of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv.
According to the investigation, the asset was seized due to the fact that in January 2022, officials of PrJSC “KCKBA” organized an illegal scheme to supply the plant's products to the aggressor state, using one of the foreign companies to circumvent legal restrictions. During 2023, the said group of individuals continued their illegal activities by organizing the manufacture and shipment of products for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Bangladesh, which led to financial losses and contributed to the support of the aggressor state in the midst of the war against Ukraine.
It is worth noting that PJSC “KCKBA” specializes in the design, manufacture, and sale of devices for the energy industry.
To ensure further effective management of the seized property, on March 18, ARMA central staff together with colleagues from the Central Interregional Territorial Department inspected the asset located in Kyiv.
The inspection revealed that the company has a closed type of production focused on the design and manufacture of parts and components for the energy sector.
ARMA continues to work on the implementation of court orders on the management of this asset and is taking all necessary measures to ensure their effective management. In this regard, a tender will be announced in the near future to find a manager for
PJSC “KCKBA”, who will ensure transparent and legal use of the company's assets for the benefit of Ukraine.
