Within the framework of the 10th annual meeting of ARIN-AP (Asset Recovery Interagency Network – Asia Pacific), held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, ARMA’s representative—Olena Oleksiienko, Chief Specialist of the Department for the Finding, Tracing and Recovery of Assets in Foreign Jurisdictions—conducted a series of bilateral meetings focused on international cooperation.
Talks were held with the delegations of Japan, Thailand, and the ARIN-AP Secretariat, with an emphasis on developing partnerships and strengthening cooperation mechanisms.
A separate working meeting took place with a representative of the newly established MENA ARIN (Asset Recovery Interagency Network – Middle East and North Africa). As a result, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation between ARMA and MENA ARIN.
ARMA’s participation in the international event reaffirmed Ukraine’s status as a reliable partner in the finding, tracing, and management of assets. Such meetings bolster Ukraine’s international standing and help build a global cooperation network in the field of asset recovery.
For reference, within ARIN-AP, ARMA presented Ukraine’s experience in finding, tracing, and managing assets.
