Deputy Head of ARMA Pavlo Velykorechanin noted that Ukraine’s unique experience is creating a new paradigm for effective asset finding, tracing, and management:
“The invitation of ARMA to Økokrim’s annual report demonstrates the recognition of Ukraine as an equal participant in the European architecture of combating crime and corruption. We have shown that even under the most difficult conditions of war, we are able to ensure transparency of processes, professionalism, and tangible revenues to the State Budget. This strengthens international trust and opens up new opportunities in the field of asset Recovery.”
ARMA’s participation in the event was an important step towards deepening cooperation with European partners, as well as a tool for shaping common approaches to combating financial crime and restoring justice.
