At the request of the National Police of Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) found and traced assets belonging to a high-ranking official who had been abusing his position for illegal enrichment over an extended period.

Among the assets found and traced by ARMA are:

22 real estate properties

9 land plots

6 luxury cars

corporate rights in Ukrainian companies worth over UAH 1.5 million

4 marine transport units

a private jet

In addition, ARMA found luxury residential properties in the city center of Milan (Italy), two vehicles in Luxembourg, and corporate rights in a Luxembourg-based company worth €12,000, belonging to family members of the high-ranking official.

“This is yet another confirmation of the effectiveness of interagency cooperation. We are grateful to the National Police of Ukraine for their well-coordinated efforts. Only through joint action can we ensure real results in the fight against illicit assets,”
said Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of ARMA.

Information about the found assets has already been forwarded to the competent law enforcement authorities for the imposition of seizure injunctions, further procedural actions pursuant to rulings, and subsequent transfer into ARMA’s management.
