The Head of the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), OlenaDuma, attended the 10th anniversary of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC). The event was also attended by the Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine OlehNimchynov, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Semen Kryvonos, Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office OleksandrKlymenko, heads of state executive authorities and law enforcement officers.
During the event, the Head of the ARMA personally congratulated the NACP team and its Head Viktor Pavliushchyk on the milestone and emphasized the importance of the agency's work for strengthening Ukraine's anti-corruption infrastructure.
“Building an effective system of corruption prevention is a fundamental component of the stability of our country. The NACP performs an extremely important mission every day, ensuring transparency and integrity in the public sector. It is this work that allows us to strengthen public trust in state institutions and demonstrate our values on the path to European integration,” said the Head of ARMA.
According to the Head of ARMA, last year was a breakthrough in cooperation between the two anti-corruption agencies. In particular, a joint procedure for searching for unjustified assets of officials was approved, which is already yielding real results and ensuring that corrupt officials are brought to economic responsibility.
On behalf of ARMA, the Head of the Agency presented the NAPC representatives with a letter of appreciation for their invaluable contribution to the development and implementation of Ukraine's anti-corruption policy and effective cooperation with ARMA in the search for unjustified assets.
In his turn, NAPC Head Viktor Pavlushchyk handed over to the Head of ARMA a commemorative coin issued by the National Bank of Ukraine specifically for the tenth anniversary of the NAPC and collectible stamps designed by Ukrposhta to mark the occasion.
“Together we will return the illegally transferred assets to Ukraine! Together we will defeat the enemy! Together we will defeat corruption!” emphasized the Head of the ARMA, stressing the unity of Ukraine's anti-corruption infrastructure.
