Head of ARMA meets with Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine

The Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, Olena Duma, held a working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine, Idris Kadyrkulov.

The parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of tracing and recovery of assets obtained through criminal proceeds.

The Head of ARMA informed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Agency’s key achievements over the past two years, highlighting progress in international cooperation, the sale of seized assets, and the strengthening of institutional capacity. The discussion also covered legislative initiatives aimed at improving asset management procedures.

Ambassador Idris Kadyrkulov, who plays an active role in advancing Ukrainian-Kyrgyz diplomatic relations, expressed his interest in fostering mutually beneficial cooperation with Ukraine in the field of combating financial crime.

Mr. Ambassador also showed interest in the legislative framework of Ukraine in the field of anti-corruption and asset management for possible study of the experience in Kyrgyz Republic.

The parties agreed to continue consultations and promote the expert exchange of experience of both countries through inter-institutional cooperation.
