At the National Asset Recovery and Management Agenc,a meeting was held between theleadership of ARMA, headed by its Head Olena Duma, and the Co-Chair of the British-UkrainianChamber of Commerce, Jock Mendoza-Wilson.
During the meeting, the key role of ARMA’s cooperation with the British-Ukrainian Chamber ofCommerce and other trade chambers—representing foreign business interests in Ukraine—wasdiscussed. Involving foreign businesses in the management of seized assets is an opportunity toimplement best practices for achieving high profits by establishing competitive tender conditions. For this reason, it was proposed to sign a memorandum with the International Chamber ofCommerce (ICC WCF).
In addition, Mr. Mendoza-Wilson acknowledged ARMA's leadership among Ukraine's anti-corruption institutions. Having the opportunity to compare ARMA’s past performance with itscurrent state, he noted the radical changes in the agency's operations over the past year and a halfand expressed his intention to share information about these positive changes with his colleagues.
