Competitions for the management of seized assets open new opportunities for business – Yaroslava Maksymenko

14-10-2025

Competitions for the management of seized assets have high potential for the development of Ukrainian business. This was stated by the Acting Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), Yaroslava Maksymenko, during the Business Protection 2025 – A2B Forum.

“ARMA is an instrument that helps the state restore economic balance and strengthen both the economy and national defense,” she emphasized. “We account for assets worth over UAH 200 billion – real estate, land plots, and businesses. These assets are not just being preserved by ARMA – they must work for economic development, support the army, and stimulate business growth.”

According to the Acting Head of the Agency, business participation in these competitions is an opportunity to increase profits and expand production. For society, it means preserving and creating jobs; for the state – fostering economic growth and building trust between the government, business, and citizens.

The ARMA reform, adopted in the summer of 2025, has provided the Agency with modern tools for effective asset management and restored confidence among business, government, and society.

“The partnership of the state, business, and people is the ‘golden triangle’ on which national prosperity is built,” Maksymenko emphasized.
