This was stated by Olena Duma, Head of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes.
“Once again — Pechersk Court. Once again — Pin-Up. And once again — the lifting of the seizure of asset linked to the aggressor state. Lawyers for russian owners seem tireless — unlike certain representatives of the judiciary, who persistently ignore the interests of the state.
Another ruling by the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv once again allows the removal of arrest from property that can and must serve Ukraine,” said Olena Duma.
According to her, the case concerns the following assets:
- Monaco Restaurant — city centre of Kyiv, 1,273 m²
- Kupetsky Dvir complex on Stolychne Shosse — 536.5 m²
- Podil Plaza Hotel — central Podil, 2,965.5 m²
- Corporate rights: 75% of Kupetsky Dvir, 75% of Monaco, 50% of Garant Nerukhomist
ARMA had already inspected these assets and prepared the full package of documentation to announce a competitive selection of asset managers via the Prozorro platform. Details of the process are available in the video below.
“We know how to preserve these assets in the state’s interest. We have experience.
When the same court lifted arrest on assets worth UAH 2.6 billion, those funds were not returned to Russian owners. ARMA protected national interests then — and we will do so again.
We have already contacted the Prosecutor General’s Office to restore the arrests. Silence is consent — and we have no right to remain silent when the enemy tries to reclaim assets in Ukraine.
ARMA is not just an agency. It is a state shield that holds the line where attempts to quietly ‘pull assets out’ begin. I thank the Prosecutor General’s Office for strong cooperation and promptly submitting a new motion to reimpose arrest,” Olena Duma emphasized.
According to her, ARMA has already transferred UAH 2.6 billion, seized from the Russian online casino Pin-Up, to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“And we will not stop. Because every square meter and every hryvnia from enemy assets must work toward our victory,” the Head of the National Agency concluded.
