ARMA traces assets of collaborator suspected of high treason

22-05-2025

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has successfully processed a request from the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region to trace the assets of an individual suspected of committing criminal offenses.

According to the pre-trial investigation body, the suspect, who has specialized knowledge and professional experience in law enforcement, deliberately sided with the enemy and facilitated the activities of illegal armed groups in the temporarily occupied territory. The criminal proceeding was initiated under Articles 28, 110, 111, 260 and 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Specialists from the Department for Finding and Tracing of Financial and Other Assets conducted a comprehensive analysis of the available information concerning the suspect and his property status.

As a result of the tracing operation, the following items were identified and traced:

- 7 residential real estate objects

- 12 land plots

- 3 units of motor vehicles

- 1 sea vessel

- 2 units of river transport

- Intellectual property rights

- Cash on accounts in banking institutions

“This is another illustrative example of effective cooperation between ARMA and law enforcement agencies in cases involving threats to Ukraine's national security. The identified assets will be seized by court decision and transferred to ARMA's management, thereby preserving their economic value for the state,” said Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of the ARMA.

Those who act against Ukraine's national interests will bear economic responsibility — and ARMA will ensure accountability.
