Today, on August 9, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes and the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.

The Memorandum will ensure the cooperation and exchange of information on finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes, determines the access to data bases and measures to ensure the protection of information processing.

As Head of the National Agency, Anton Yanchuk, mentioned, the interagency cooperation between the Agency and the National Commission is aimed at implementing the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Agency of Ukraine on finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes", in particular regarding access to automated information systems, registers and data banks which National Commossion holds.

Also, the parties agreed on the intention to develop unified approaches, mechanisms and recommendations in the field of finding, tracing and asset management (namely, securities and derivatives), and agreed to organise joint activities to enhance cooperation between institutions.
